I am using this blog to teach about technology and character. How do we create respectful global citizens?
It is a tough task. That little device held in the hands of all our little ones can be a weapon. I found that out first hand with one of my children. We just came back from a beautiful vacation. Seven wonderful days cell phone free and adventures galore to talk about. One of my teens asked to post some pictures on Instagram. I thought it would be fine. What a lesson we both learned! There are always going to be mean people in the world. It is how we react to their actions is what makes the difference. This is a tough lesson to learn.
My motto on Twitter is too sweet to mean tweet. 2 legit to quit. A desire to inspire.
Hopefully, I will inspire my students to be considerate global citizens of the 21st century. I am definitely 2 legit to quit on this journey. If my students see how invested I am in this, so will they! #be a role model
